Beautiful Architecture
Designed by the prestigious Mexican architect, Fernando
Quirarte, and inspired by the Puuc Mayan architectural period, the Bahia
Principe Tulum Resort welcomes its guests with all of Mexican's
characteristic warmth. Materials such as stone, talavera pottery, marble,
large palapas, hardwoods and an exquisite color combination make the Bahia
Principe Resort a cool and harmonious place that is easy to discover and
enjoy.
The Bahia Principe Tulum's
Dona Isabel, a Hacienda in bright Mexican colors, opens to a lively
replica of a village square with vendors, shops, cozy restaurants, a disco
and even an ice cream parlor. Marble walkways lead to an impressive lobby
with a sky-high pillar etched with Mayan hieroglyphs, and further on you
will find restaurants and a huge lagoon-shaped pool divided into 3
sections with
3 levels. Both adults and children will find a variety of activities,
including watersports . The Mayan fortress of Tulum is only 20 minutes
away, where visitors will find ancient ruins overlooking the blue
Caribbean.
Just a Hint of What to Expect
At the all-inclusive
Bahia Principe Tulum Resort, you
will find a splendid variety of dining options, including a choice of
specialty Mexican, Italian and open-air Mediterranean. The kids will enjoy
meeting new friends at El Principito Mini Club throughout the day, and the
adults can dance at the disco until dawn. The Bahia Principe Tulum has
774 double rooms, the majority of which have a sea
view, and 36 junior suites (with hydro-massage bath and on the seafront).
These are distributed in three-storied villas with 18 rooms each, amongst
coconut palms and at a maximum distance of 150 m. from the beach. You'll
also be able to enjoy five restaurants and several bars with completely
different styles and atmospheres.
Spa Services
The Bahia Principe Tulum has
just added a full service Spa to the resort also. Guests can decide to be
pampered with massages, facials and relaxing therapies at the newly opened
Marina SPA also within the complex. The professional gymnasium equipment,
which also forms part of the new feature, is of course at their disposal
without cost.
Location
The all-inclusive Bahia Principe Tulum is
located 1 hr south from the Cancun Airport in the Riviera Maya, 35 min from Playa Del Carmen,
and 20 min from Tulum.
